As South Philadelphia-born PrimoHoagies continues its planned expansion into five new states in 2023, the sandwich brand is eyeing other opportunities to grow its business, including integrating new technology and opening more locations along the Jersey Shore. 

In 2022, PrimoHoagies recorded an 18% increase in gross sales from the record $68 million it generated in 2021. Along with this sales growth, the brand is also expanding its physical footprint. It currently has 93 locations across seven states: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, North Carolina and South Carolina. The Westville, New Jersey-based company plans to open around 50 locations this year, including expansion into New York, Colorado, Texas, Florida and Louisiana.
