MLG Realty Expands Retail Portfolio

MLG Realty, based in South Jersey, has expanded its retail portfolio with four new acquisitions totaling $14.3 million. The company focused its activity within its home region and completed several deals across Camden and Burlington counties.

Three Camden County properties changed hands through a 1031 tax-deferred exchange with Rettner Management of New Rochelle, New York. That transaction totaled $10 million. The package included the Centrum Shoppes at 219 Haddonfield-Berlin Road in Cherry Hill, Plaza 500 at 501-523 N. Black Horse Pike in Haddon Heights, and Plaza Shoppes Voorhees at 100 White Horse Road in Voorhees.

Together, the three centers offer nearly 46,000 square feet and remain fully leased, primarily to local tenants, many of them restaurant operators.

In addition, MLG acquired a Wawa-anchored retail center at 798 Woodlane Road in Westampton for $4.3 million. The seller, Woodlane Associates of Medford, previously owned the Burlington County property.
