The proposed Sprouts Farmers Market grocery store on Egg Harbor Road in Washington Township achieved a significant milestone when the Township Zoning Board granted its approval on Monday night.

Sprouts Farmers Market is a health-focused grocery store renowned for its open and inviting layout, offering a wide range of fresh produce, a full deli, seafood and meat counters, and a strong emphasis on organic products. A recently opened Sprouts store in Westmont garnered my attention on its opening day; you can find photos and additional details here.

The forthcoming Sprouts location on Egg Harbor Road will be situated directly adjacent to the existing Harbor Place shopping center, which is already home to TD Bank, Dollar Tree, Rita’s Water Ice, and various other businesses. Notably, the parking lots of these two properties will be interconnected.
